Jesus has given us His heart “to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10) especially university students and young adults. The vast majority of people who become followers of Christ do so before the age of 30. However, a Pew Forum research study of American young adults age 18-29 (The Millennial Generation), found that fewer than 20% attend religious services regularly. Moreover, a 2008 survey revealed that 47% of young adults were not certain that God exists. In fact, according to the book UnChristian by David Kinnaman (2007), only 3 percent of people under 29 had a favorable view of “evangelicals.” Thus, we desire to be a “voice of truth” to this lost but very strategic demographic.
