During His earthly ministry, Jesus asserted that the religious leaders of His day were “blind” to truth and that “…if a blind man guides a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” (Matthew 15:14) We are currently facing many problems in the U.S. from moral decline to massive financial debt. However, perhaps our underlying problem is really a leadership crisis. From Wall Street to Congress to the Church, our present generation of “leaders” seem to be more focused on “pleasing people” rather than God. Truly, selfishness and an ultra secular-humanist ideology, has captured our culture. Often, decisions are being made at every level based more on expedience and convenience, rather than on long term value and moral good. Thus, we are praying and working with the Lord to raise up a new generation of leaders for strategic areas of society who possess Christ-like character and a Biblical worldview. As these emerging leaders enter their “God given assignments,” seek the Lord and implement His wisdom and principles, people’s lives will be impacted and real and lasting change will occur in our nation and the nations of the world.
